Federales Street Tacos

Have been wanting to try this place and finally had the opportunity to go for date night. Did not disappoint. Did not seem busy but we dined in and there was a steady flow of customers the entire time we were there. Greeted with professionalism, smiles, class. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The owner cares so much for the detail and delivering 5 star service to every single patron. Our food was served on beautiful large dishes that added a classy appeal that I appreciated and showcased the beautiful presentation. Each ingredient and bite was full of flavor, was colorful, and so incredibly filling and we typically leave restaurants not as satiated as we'd like. We will absolutely be back to try more from the menu!

Everything about this place is awesome. The food is always delicious. The portions are always generous. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is always clean. I don’t have a single recommendation to improve the place. If you’re going to that other national chain burrito place, you are making a huge mistake. Try Federales once and they’ll be your new favorite spot for quick-service Mexican food. I had to come edit this after reading other reviews. Someone asked about family atmosphere. It is definitely family friendly. And they recently added outdoor seating with umbrellas. More importantly - You do NOT have to speak Spanish to order at federales. We’ve been helped by half a dozen different people. They all speak English. Spanish is certainly their first language, but that’s why the food is good!

Ordered the spicy burrito that is topped with chorizo, and queso. The burrito was delicious, the customer service is great and the bathroom/ restaurant itself is a clean place including the dining area.

This place is wonderful. I ordered the birria tacos. The atmosphere was great. The employees were friendly. The food was delicious. I'll be honest I've never had birria tacos before, so I don't know how these compare to others. But they were very flavorful, even though I did skip the offered cilantro. I will definitely visit here again.

Got the birria tacos and taco salad & both were sooo flavorful & delicious! Such a great addition to the Mentor food scene - def give it a try!

We ordered the Burrito Azteca and the Spicy Burrito—and let’s just say, these aren’t your average burritos. The portions? Massive. The flavors? Bold, fresh, and downright addictive. Every bite was stacked with perfectly balanced ingredients and seasoned just right. You can tell they care about what they’re putting on your plate. But it’s not just the food that stood out—the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and quick to serve. You don’t always get that combo of quality food and top-tier service, but Federales nailed it. We’re already planning our next visit, because there’s a whole menu of greatness still waiting to be devoured. This place isn’t just a taco stop—it’s a must-visit.

I got the birria tacos and they were so delicious and full of flavor. Guacamole was good and service was fast, efficient, and friendly.

Fresh, flavourful ingredients, friendly staff, cozy environment, and constantly delicious, what more could you ask for! Everything is affordable, and so delicious. Much better option than Chipotle! Definitely recommend trying them out, we are weekly visitors! They have beautiful custom wall paintings too which just add to the personality of the place, artist is extremely talented!
